Xinjiang Huatai Heavy Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huatai Company") is a first-class supervised enterprise under Xinjiang Zhongtai (Group) Co., Ltd. It is also the first industrial park of Zhongtai Group that jumped out of the old industrial base of Xishan to build a factory in another place. Located in Chemical Industrial Park, Midong District, Urumqi City, it was established on January 16, 2004, covering an area of more than 2,500 acres. The company has a registered capital of 4.7 billion yuan and total assets of 14.5 billion yuan. Under the leadership of Zhongtai Group, Huatai Company, in accordance with the policy of "overall planning and step-by-step implementation", aimed at advanced technology, large-scale equipment, intensive control, and production informatization. The industrial park started construction in April 2005. The construction is divided into three phases, with a total investment of about 6.5 billion yuan. The overall construction of the park was completed in 2010. At present, it has an annual output of 800,000 tons of polyvinyl chloride resin, 540,000 tons of ion-exchange membrane caustic soda, and a production capacity of 300,000 kilowatts of combined heat and power plant. The company's main business is the production of polyvinyl chloride resin, caustic soda and other chemical products, with 1,500 regular employees.

Huatai Company has always adhered to the development policy of "safety first, environmental protection priority, ecological establishment, and technology leadership", and has invested nearly 3 billion yuan successively for energy conservation, low carbon emission reduction, and circular economy transformation, and has achieved "zero waste water emissions”, recycling of calcium carbide waste to make cement clinker, and recovery of waste heat from thermoelectricity for residential heating. The green area of the industrial park accounts for more than 40%, and a green, ecological and environment-friendly industrial park has been basically built. Huatai Company has successively won the honorary titles of "the first batch of resource-saving and environment-friendly enterprises", "clean production demonstration enterprises in key industries", "industrial product green design demonstration enterprises" and "national green factories" awarded by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and honorary titles such as "High-tech Enterprise" awarded by the Ministry of Science and Technology. It has successively established the "National Skill Master Studio" for electrical maintenance and the "Autonomous Region Skill Master Studio" for instrument maintenance.
