Hydrazine hydrate, also known as hydrazine monohydrate, is a strongly alkaline and hygroscopic compound. It is a colorless, transparent oily liquid with a slight ammonia odor, which fumes in humid air and exhibits strong alkalinity and hygroscopicity. Hydrazine hydrate is miscible with water and ethanol, insoluble in ether and chloroform. It can corrode glass, rubber, leather, cork, and other materials, and decomposes into N2, NH3, and H2 at high temperatures. It is highly reducible and reacts vigorously with halogens, HNO3, KMnO4, etc. It can absorb CO2 in air and produce smoke. Hydrazine hydrate and its derivatives are widely used in many industrial applications as reducing agents, antioxidants, and in the production of pharmaceuticals, foaming agents, and more. It has four active, substitutable hydrogen atoms and can undergo numerous chemical synthesis reactions. Currently, more than 300 organic compounds have been synthesized through hydrazine hydrate reactions, making it an important intermediate in the chemical industry that has experienced rapid development.

Hydrazine Hydrate have four active and replaceable hydrogen atoms, which can undergo many chemical synthesis reactions. Currently, over 300 organic compounds have been synthesized through hydrazine hydrate reactions, making it an important intermediate in the chemical industry with rapid development.
1.Hydrazine hydrate is an important fine chemical raw material mainly used in the synthesis of foaming agents such as ACDA, DIPA, and TSH.
2.It is used as a cleaning agent for deoxygenation and decarbonization of boilers and reactors. It is also used in the pharmaceutical industry for the production of anti-tuberculosis and anti-diabetic drugs.
3.In the pesticide industry, it is used to produce herbicides, plant growth regulators, and insecticides, as well as rodenticides.
4.It can also be used to produce rocket fuels, heavy diazo fuels, rubber additives, and more.
Hydrazine Hydrate are inorganic alkaline corrosive materials (hazardous code: GB8.2 class 82020). The product is packaged in polyethylene plastic drums and should be stored in a cool, ventilated warehouse, away from fire, heat sources, and oxidizers. The temperature inside the warehouse should not exceed 30℃, and direct sunlight should be avoided. Keep the container sealed. It should be stored separately from oxidizers and acids. Mixing and transportation are not allowed. During packaging and transportation, personal protective measures should be taken, and the packaging and containers should be handled with care to avoid damage. Transportation should follow the prescribed route without stopping en route.
